He is finally here!

I am one proud big brother. Ya, I have three now, holy cow.

He is well on his way to a good mullit, I wonder if they make tank tops that small?

Hailey finally warmed up to the idea of having the little guy around.

Colter Bruce was born at 4:43 and Jan 25th, 2010. He was 6 lbs 12 oz and 19 1/2 inches long (I would say tall, but since he can't stand up I would think that "long" is more appropriate.)

Hailey didn't take to kindly to him at first, but quickly realized that he wasn't too bad. Kade just thinks that it is cool to have a brother.

Em is doing quite well and is glad to be home. I am just glad that her mom is here!

christmas and New Years!!

Hailey got a piano for Christmas and has really enjoyed it. she is really sweet and doesn't bang on the keyboard. that aside thank goodness for a volume button.
the kids also got a sled, which we were able to try out on new years. they loved it. mike being mike, reliving his favorite movie. Oh don't worry Hailey did it too. luckily no stick this time. can't say that for the next time though.
one of our Christmas presents was a family outing to snowmobile races. it was in an outside stadium, cold but it was fun. I even caught- a DVD they were throwing into the crowd. OK, I didn't catch it, I used my body to my advantage- if you've got it... use it right?

Going Private

Well I have put allot of thought into this, and though I totally understand that it is more convenient to be Public, I think I too am going to make the transition, and go private.

My sister shared a story about bad people using the faces of little kids and putting them on naked body's and selling them, I think My kids faces are pretty cute and feel that I do need to protect them.

I might have been a little hasty is switching to private so quickly, and since I probably don't have all the emails I need, if you are interested in being invited to my blog would you please leave a comment with you email address and over the next little bit I will compile them.

what we have been up to.

Happy Halloween, or Fall

Kayden had a preschool halloween party. They had so much fun. decorating cookies and playing different halloween games

here he is telling me what he will be for halloween that facial expression with him say " Aarr "
and then clearifing (as if that wasn't enough) "a Pirate"!
we were given these read cowgirl boots and they were so cute on her we had use them. that is how we decided she she was going to be. Mike had these old bandannas from a work thing so I just made her outfit out of them. it was nice not really buying anything.

I just cant get over how cute she is. she can say candy now surprise "nanny" and does she ever have a sweet tooth.

We had a fun Halloween night. I wish there was some way that we could go out as a family. Kade really wanted mike there. We finally left candy on our door step and walked around together.

Hailey got the concept but figured out early on that it was faster to just let me carry her. We had a fun evening. and the kids were still in bed by 8:30!! I was not going to give that quiet time with mike up.

Boy? Girl?

just to clearify, We did not find out the sex of our baby, we couldn't decide what would be a better addition so we decided it would be fun to keep it a surprise. Since we have one of each and have thouroghly enjoyed them both we thought it would be fun to see what we would be blessed with next.

September went by way to FAST

Would you believe me if I said we lost our Camera for the whole month of September? Well We didn't, but I Don't know where September went.

Hailey is getting to that age where she is now alot more Interesesting in things such as flour. she had so much fun. I couldn't stop her right away.

I Had a birthday and it was a very fun day. I loved having family around, especially my mom. it was a very special day. thank you.

We had some Friends generously share some circus tickets with us. So we had a really fun time going to the circus Friday night. FUN for the whole Family- MIKE even had fun- he was a little sceptcal. thank you Friends!! This may look like a huge Trophy.. It is. Mike's softball team won thier game and became Sandy City Champs. I keep telling him that he needs to pass it around to the other players... HE says he earned it. HE did put lots of time into that team. He had a lot of fun and we had a fun outing every week watching Dad play.
