the park and the vaccum what they have in commmon

Most people do a monthly update but I want to do an update for the last week or so.

It began at play group, lots of kids, and moms out on a nice sunnyday. I'm thinking it is nice to visit with people in my neighborhood and catch up. suddenly i hear "Emily Kinghorn you kids peaing down the slide"... sure enough kade was over on top of the jungle gym and just pulling up his pant. lots of kids standing and watching. luckly some moms helped me keep kids of the slide until I had wiped it down with lots of wipes from someones diaper bag. he had his train set taken away for a whole day.
the next day to share was friday, I had just finished vaccuming and it was "Kades turn" hailey had just dumped some fishy crackers out and he wanted to clean it up. as a disclamer kade is really good a vaccuming. but this particular time Haileys had got stuck, or pinned under the vaccum, and the brushes went to town on the top of her hand. It only took seconds.... hailey got a pretty good chunk of skin taken off the top of her hand. since it was so big i had to wrap it, to keep her from polling off the bandage. it has taken a long time to heal. but we are almost better.
the following wednesday I had a dr. apt. for my ears- I am hard of hearing. kade and hailey went with a friend to Playgroup. I was still filling out paper work when I receive a call about kade, he had fallen on the curbing by the swing set and split his chin open. I was at the same building for the pediatriction, so friends brought him and 6 stitches later we are all back home. Dad promised Kade an extentions set to his train if he held still while the doctor stitched him up.
I think we are done for a while. we really do have great kids. I feel so blessed to have them in my life. I love being a mother ... even when kayden goes a pees on the side walk in front of our house and tells me that that is was dogs do.
we are still looking for a special home for percy so it anyone know of one let us know thank you I have picture so these too. soon to follow.

Great Pricture

So My friend took some great pictures of Hailey the other day and I am so excited about them. I don't know why this one stood out but it was so cute. I will show more.

Kayden is 3!!

Yup, I have a three year old. It is so strange he is so grown up. potty trained, and such a good helper. whenever i am doing something I will always exprect to hear him say "I help you" or " I watch you" , but if I ask him to do something I might also hear him say "you do it" ...

a little up date on him. He has dicovered going "potty" outside. (I did not teach him this- blame it on the dog maybe?? ) and he will use A body part as a GUN... I am so embarrest... he is fun though. I have enjoyed all of his stages and this one has still been fun. though as a disclaimer every stage has its challenges... but there is always something fun about it.

We had my sister here for a couple of weeks, she has twin 9mo old boys and a boy kades age. I think heavenly father is very wise to not send us all our kids at once. I don't know home much "love at home" there would be. needless to say we had so much fun with Kath, Ty, Ben and Dan here.

HOW MUCH DO I LOVE PERCY???

So I have been reluctant to share my recent happenings with my dog. we are going on two years with this dog, and I guess I would said he is part of our family. long story short, about a month and a half ago we had the police stop by our house saying that a lady has been complaining about our dog barking. I was surprised, since we have taken some precautions to make him a quiet dog. the police shared at that time that he had not yet heard the dog bark. we received a warning. two weeks later another officer stopped by and this time the female officer said that this women was complaining again. I asked if there was anything i could do, I volunteered my numbers so the women could contact me when my dog was barking. the officer seemed to think this was a good idea. she came back from making that offer to the lady, and conveyed that the women would "testify against me in court". so I don't know if this is malicous or what. so today I had my court hearing ( oh other other great thing is the citation is in my name because I was home) today and after three hours of waiting I have been assigned a bench trial. I am more confused now than before . they recommend that I get an attorney but I don't think I can find one on my little budget. anyway it is amazing how life throws curve balls. I wish I could work this out civily with this lady and I am truely sorry that there is someone out there that hates me and my dog.

kayden is so funny!!

so kayden has been potty training a little. he will only go in his bathroom upstairs so usually I will put a diaper on him if we go out. this particular day he didn't want to and I didn't mind. we went some where ( I can't remember) and hailey was hungery and tired. I came home nursed her (Kinda) she fell asleep very quickly, kade had pead his pants but I wanted to deal with hailey first. so when I got up to take hailey up to bed I realized Kade had fallen asleep too. he didn't sit down because his pants are wet.

Hailey Had a Birthday Shout hurray!!!

What a cute one year old. It is official she is Kinda One! Our little leap year baby survived. people kept asking me what kind of mother would have their child on lead day. they would talk about how sad it would be that she wouldn't have a birthday. I am here to say that we celebrated her birthday in style. Saturday night kayden helped her open a present which was fun to get her and kayden warmed up to the next days events.

This dress was supposed to be her Easter dress, but i found out she fits is perfectly. So it was her birthday dress. We had stake conference and both Kade and Hailey fell right asleep right away. She didn't show off her dress so much, so we had to take pictures. I thought she was the cutest!

Some of the mile stones that she has achieved... My favorite the cutest personality. she has more facial expresses, and she knows how to use them. this one is the easiest to get on camera. others consist of rolling everywhere, she ways goodbye some times, loves patty cake, and peakaboo and she plays this game of nodding and shaking her head. one of her favorite snack is a piece of bread.

as a treat we had uncle Spencer and Robert, and Aunt Amber over for dinner. I'm sad that I didn't get a group picture, as Aunt Amber is about to pop any day now and it would be fun for posterity.

So we had the yummiest cupcakes ever. we thought that would be easier the sad thing is we had borrowed that cute cupcake tree thing and I didn't even get a picture of it. it was really cute. Hailey picked up her cupcake and knew exactly what to do with it. we even forgot to have ice cream because he was enjoying her cup cake so much. they were really good.

Kaydens Tonsilectomy and adnoidectomy

we arrived at the hospital at 8:30 am. Kade was a little confused, especially when we had to put PJ's on him when we had just put clothes on him not 20 min before. but he was a trooper... he was a little nervous

we showed him the TV and he got comfortable really quick. a nurse came in with a bucket of great toys and that made it easier for mike and I to talk to the different doctors and others needing info from us.

it really made the morning a lot easier to have such fun things to play with and occupy him.

when they took him back he was pretty sad but they said once they let him push the different bot tons for the elevator and doors he was better. the doctor came back with this little baggy.. those are Kade's Tonsil. She said that they were 4 times the size than they should be. she said the adenoids were the same.

it really has been a wonderful miracle how much better this day went than i anticipated. Kayden has been funny to watch, he as been grabbing his nose a little more often... I don't know what this means. he sat there kinda picking his nose, or plugging one nostril than the other, and I finally had to ask him what he was doing. he just had this baffled look on his face. I can't help but wonder that it just might feel weird being able to breath that much more clear.
