Preparing for Christmas

One of my goals for Christmas was to take Percy (our dog) in for his next set of shots. This is easy to over look since he is such a good and happy dog. we finally did it. Mike called around and found the Petsmart was having a free clinic, we made sure we were first in line. we went and since there were tons of dogs there, Percy got really excited. (Uncle Wayne, we now know its not just you he likes to pee on) we was peeing all over right and left. I was impressed with the vet, and sadly when they were doing a complimentary wellness check they found that Percy had an ear infection. we could see the significant difference between his left and right ear with grossness in one and the other all clear. so now, mike and I have the task of cleaning both ears and applying drops in them twice a day. after only todays it is looking better, but holding a 72lb dog down to put drops in his ears isn't what i would call easy. he is getting better at that.
Other than that, Christmas plans are going really well. we are looking forward to being with the Kinghorn Clan this year. Mikes brother and sister in law will be arriving here Wednesday night we get to spend all day Thursday with them, and then Friday we will drive up caravan together to Idaho. Saturday Mike plans to go sledding and take Kade for a short ride on the snowmobile (in the back pasture of course-He wants to got to start young). Sunday we have the special opportunity to go through the Rexburg temple, and from there we will begin the Christmas festivities. overall This will be a very fun vacation. hope all is well and take care, and be safe this Christmas season. we love and miss all our family and friends
